Established in 1971 by Architect, Pa Hellmers (aka Peter Senior), our business has evolved through various guises gaining us experience in all areas of furniture and interiors.

When we, the 2nd generation were recruited (cheap labour), we contributed our personal skills and experience: Chris – Interior Decorating; Kate – Bookkeeping; Sarah – Textiles; Liz – Fashion and Photography. This has culminated in the Lathams house style that our customers have come to know and love.

We have recently welcomed the 3rd generation family members into the fold (yes, more cheap labour) – all having studied in the art and fashion fields. This will ensure that the future of Lathamshome is secured

We are always aiming to be one step ahead and are never afraid to experiment in order to maintain our reputation as style leaders in the home interiors market. We attend UK and European shows so that we can bring the latest looks back to Epping and Bishops Stortford.
